Flexible Skirting

Flexible skirting profiles are available in 2m lengths, all flexible profiles match to equivalent standard 2m profiles.  Standard profiles join seamlessly to their matching flexible equivalents using a gel adhesive that sets clear and can be sanded with 180 grade paper. 
Measure the arc of the curve for flexible profile quantities then use the standard moulding for all linear measurements.

Profiles are fixed to the wall using adhesive, two types of adhesive are used and the joins are welded together using a clear gel adhesive for a seamless finish.

Adhesives

• FDP500 fixing adhesive for porous surfaces, ie unfinished plasterboard, concrete
• FDP700 fixing adhesive for wet areas or sealed surfaces.
• FX200 joining adhesive

Profiles are pre-primed and installed using standard tools, medium cross-cut hand saw and if using a drop saw pull back the pressure by 50% because the product material is not as dense as timber it will burn if too much pressure is applied.  Splice cut the joins for flexible mouldings or alternatively fix the joins on a flat surface the day before they are required and fix to the wall as a continuous length.  Always cut from the front face.
